Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born on March 4 1954), is a Canadian-American actress and comedian. O'Hara is the proud winner of many distinctions, including an award called the Genie Award. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020 , she was presented with the Governor General’s Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara became famous as an actress as a member in 1974 of The Second City, an Improvisational comedy troupe based out of Toronto. Together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd as co-stars, she was in the main team of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara joined Candy on the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984). The show received praise from critics for both her writing abilities and acting and was honored with the Primetime Emmy Award, 1981, for Outstanding Writing for Variety Series. O'Hara was named to the Second City artistic advisory panel in 2022 by Stephen Colbert. Also included were Dwayne Colbert (Steve Carell), Tina Fey and Keegan-Michael key and Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows.
