Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born on November 24, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a presidential hopeful as a host of American television at MSNBC and a frequent contributor of The Huffington Post, former host and co-host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagarenjeti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they were leaving the show to start their own project, titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a cohost on Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has guest starred on programs such as Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News) as well as CNN (CNBC). As of the year 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball attributes her increased interest in politics to being the mother of 2008's primary elections. Additionally, she was a witness to the US election results while living in Jordan. She saw how it affected people in that country and thereby gained an appreciation of the global influence of US politics. She was a senior fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district in the 2010 election, losing to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 to July 2015. She created the People's House Project in May 2017 to promote Democratic causes.
